Isa Rus
Photographer & Visual Artist
Based in Hamburg, Germany · Working worldwide
Isa Rus is a Spanish photographer and visual artist based in Hamburg, Germany, working internationally across editorial, commercial and personal projects.
Her practice explores the ways people create identity, intimacy and a sense of belonging. Moving between portraiture, documentary and conceptual forms of image-making, she is drawn to the relationship between people and the places they inhabit, and to the quiet narratives embedded in everyday life.
Motherhood, migration, cultural identity and domestic life recur throughout her work, often approached through a visual language that balances intimacy with a wider social and cultural perspective. Her background in sustainable tourism, combined with her experience in marketing and storytelling, informs an interdisciplinary approach to photography and visual communication.
Alongside her personal practice, Isa works with editorial and commercial clients internationally, creating photography and visual stories for brands, publications and cultural projects. Her clients and collaborators include DIE ZEIT, Das Magazin, OpenAI, Design Hotels, Vogue and Atmos, among others.
Her work has been exhibited internationally and is held in private collections, including the collection of Chikai Ohazama, co-founder of Google Earth.
Based in Germany and working worldwide. Available for editorial, commercial, commissioned and artistic projects, working in Spanish, German and English.
